Teacher greets students; students respond to greeting and take their places.
To show them poster “My Kazakhstan”. There are 15 questions from previews lessons. To evaluate them with stickers.
Showing the ICT video “My Kazakhstan”
- divide the class into 3 groups “Almaty”, “Astana”, “Kyzylorda”
- work with new words: country, flag, capital city, president
- set a time limit of 5 minutes. Activity 1. Point and read new words
- monitor students’ progress. Activity 2. Listen to the text
- tell students that after they finish talk about the text
- go around the class, monitor and assist if necessary
- Activity 3. To give to each group picture of flag. They should colour, and say the structure “This is my country. This is my flag”.
