- divide the class into 3 groups “Almaty”, “Astana”, “Kyzylorda”

- work with new words: country, flag, capital city, president

- set a time limit of 5 minutes. Activity 1. Point and read new words

- monitor students’ progress. Activity 2. Listen to the text

- tell students that after they finish talk about the text

- go around the class, monitor and assist if necessary

- Activity 3. To give to each group picture of flag. They should colour, and say the structure “This is my country. This is my flag”.
